Had a great presentation this morning for a great group of young professionals! I was really surprised at how receptive  everyone was! I think they really liked their lollipops! :) I threw on a blazer for a more "professional" look and I think it worked well! So- only 11 more days to go, and I am OUT of this dress! The temps have cooled here so I am looking forward to incorporating some layers! Enjoy the rest of your day!

Yes, it is Florida, and now it is too hot to wear them. Boo! But, I'll love having new boots come fall!

Today was great! My Public Relations Company pulled off an amazing event in a weeks notice! I was so proud of my partner Casey! He did a fabulous job and even jumped in as the Keynote speaker. He was Awesome, I can see him speaking to very large crowds one day! The event was our client, Comfort Keepers, annual appreciation luncheon. This was our first time to really see them in action. I knew what they did, but today I "got" it! I was brought to tears by a young lady who was so touched and thankful for her parent's caregiver, that she came to the podium to share with the audience. There was so much love in that room you could feel it! The caregivers genuinely LOVE their jobs! I started thinking about the little things, and how spoiled I am. I want and need nothing, yet I seem to find a way to complain at times. I have my health, my family, and I am blessed! I am so glad that in the busyness of my job, God found a way to remind me of that!

I have a really good excuse for not posting yesterday...THIS! Ha! The Addy Rockstar Awards Bash was last night! My company Crescendo won two awards for the Culture Rock Campaign we worked on with Madden! I ran 5 miles with Mrs. Cutie Pie Andrea yesterday morning and then it was costume errands all day! I am just assuming I am forgiven for skipping a day again, as the costume was a must! We rocked it as Robert Palmer and his girl! So fun! Hubs and I ran a 5K this morning, he placed 3rd in his group, I placed 2nd in mine! I really don't know if we will get dressed today either...yikes! Have a fabulously fun weekend!

What a great Friday! Don't you love the days when you just know you got things done? I made corsages at my daughter's preschool for the daddy daughter dance, and then hit the office. It is amazing how much work I can get done when it's quiet and I am alone! :) I sat and brainstormed ideas for clients, and scheduled social media posts through Hootsuite! I always feel better when I am ahead of the game! PR has become so much more than sending out press releases and planning parties, it really is a strategy and most do NOT understand the value. Bill Gates had it right when he said, "If I was down to my last dollar, I'd spend it on public relations!" Take note peeps, smart guy and....he's loaded! Happy Friday everyone!
