I was inspired by DAILYLOOK to style a little black dress for the perfect date night look. The little black dress is an important staple in my closet, and one that can be dressed up or dressed down. I chose to go elegant with this look, and in my opinion...it wouldn't be complete without a matte red lip. Dressed down, I would pair it with booties and a denim jacket. Over the past two weeks I have had the privilege of seeing two of my favorite performers live in concert. We really don't go to a lot of concerts, so it was pretty cool to go to two back to back. Even better were the two date nights back to back with my husband! That's something else that doesn't happen as often as it should because of the craziness that is our schedule. We ate, laughed, sang, and danced. My kind of date night!

In love with my new bag!

I always find things when I am not looking for them. Hence my new bag pictured above! Last Call clearance! I have also found I don't check the weather enough, little did I know it would get cooler as the day went on. Glad I grabbed my blazer,  unfortunately after picture time! :) What is everyone doing this weekend? I am headed to J. Burns Pizza tonight and then to see New Year's Eve with my husband. J. Burns has just recently re-opened and was a love during my childhood. I used to work with my dad at his nursery over the summer and he would  take me to lunch at J. Burns. Found memories that I can't WAIT to taste again! My husband was so sweet and called a babysitter himself to arrange this date night. Major deposit in my love bank! Sorry for the mildly blurry picture! I have been working with the husband on his picture taking skills, but honestly, the tripod does a much better job! ;) After surviving my daughter's slumber party, we celebrated with date night! Awesome Saturday night church service followed by a  yummy Terrace Grill dinner! Sea bass was incredible! Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend!
