So who would wear the same dress for 31 days? These girls! We are doing it again folks! Last year I rocked November inspired by girlfriends that participated in the October 2010 project! Why am I doing it? I tend to not appreciate my closet or utilize my accessories before heading out to shop for more. This is 31 days of using what I have to change up the look of this dress, and appreciating what's hanging in my closet that I can't wear. Finally, NO shopping! Why are others doing it? Read about it here. These photos are by the fabulous Nate Mundell. The first shots are the origninal 4 of us from last year. As you can see, we have brought along some friends! So wish me luck, I am going to need all of the encouragement I can get! I'm off now to enjoy wearing something other than "the dress" for the last time in 31 days! Cheers!
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TRESemmé for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
So a reader recently asked how I keep my hair so shiny, and I am going to share my secret! I use TRESemme' Fresh Start Dry Shampoo, and here are some tips for the best results:
- Shake vigorously before use and in between spray bursts for best results.
- Lift sections of dry hair and spray lightly at roots.
- Spray in short bursts, holding 8-12 inches from head.
- Don’t spray it like hair spray (all over and continuously).
- Leave in for 1-2 minutes.
- Use fingertips or a brush to distribute product evenly.
- If clogging occurs, remove nozzle and rinse the nozzle under warm water, then reattach.
I absolutely love this brand, they have a complete line of dry shampoos that will revive your style's look and feel on days you skip a shampoo. Anyone with short hair knows this is a MUST, as I usually have to wash my hair daily to keep it from looking too oily.
This product is uniquely formulated to absorb excess oil and remove odor, and the full line of dry shampoos rejuvenate hair without a drop of water. With a renewing burst of citrus extracts infused into every product, it leaves hair with a clean, fresh scent.
- The full line includes:
o Strengthening Dry Shampoo: The formula, with B12 vitamins and keratin, helps strengthen hair and leaves it full of healthy body.
o Volumizing Dry Shampoo: The formula, with mineral clay and citrus, removes oil while injecting hair with salon-gorgeous volume.
o Smoothing Dry Shampoo: The formula, with Vitamin H & Silk Proteins, refreshes your straight style by removing excess oil, impurities and odor to ensure your smooth look lasts.
o Moisturizing Waterless Foam Shampoo: The formula, with Witch Hazel, Citrus, and Aloe Vera, refreshes your hair by removing excess oil, impurities and odor while moisturizing hair.

Most likely you will see a part two of this post because there are SO many pictures I want to share! What a FANTASTIC trip! My husband and I had the most fun that we have had together in a LONG time! What a beautiful resort, and Jamaicans are the nicest, happiest people! I am wishing I was back there right now, although I did miss the kiddos like crazy! Back to reality!
I cut my hair, imagine that!! It happens a lot! Especially when I am going on a trip, we are headed to Jamaica tomorrow to the Sandals Grande Rivera Resort! I can't WAIT to tell you all about it. Most of all I am looking forward to spending time with my husband to celebrate our 8 years of marriage! Bonus: my best friend and her husband are coming along too! So until then, here's to the 15 restaurants on the resort, climbing waterfalls, the beach, and time alone with my husband!
We took a road trip to Lady Lake on Saturday for weekend fun with the family! It was my brother's and my two little cousins' birthdays! My cousins live on a great piece of property with nothing around-dirt road and all! It was great out there, so peaceful and quiet....well all except for the noise we were making :) I missed the Tim Gunn Blogger Brilliance in Tampa, but skipping it for family was totally worth it! We had a GREAT weekend! Hope you did too! So....I am on final coutdown for my trip to Jamaica with my husband and BFF and her hubby! We leave Thursday! Can't WAIT!!!!! I really should get some packing advice from my Getaway Girl pal, Casey Wohl! Check out her blog for amazing reads of all things travel! She is a blast!

Yep, your right this is not me! It is the fabulous stylist Courtney! The camera was not pointed at me today, but at this pretty momma! We are planning for our Lakeland Local True Style column, maternity edition. We had so much fun this afternoon. My sweet friend and stylist has a bit of a shopping problem, (I think it comes with the job, ha!) Today I sat on the floor of her closet and found myself lost in a sea of accessories! I started sorting and organizing while we picked out outfits for our photo shoot. I made a small dent, but most of all it was fun. Courtney has this laugh that is just infections, when we are together we laugh until we cry, talking about funny memories and such. She has such a big heart and I can't wait for her sweet baby to arrive, she is going to be a great mommy! BTW...doesn't she look FANTASTIC? She does a wonderful job of using accessories to jazz up otherwise basic looks. I couldn't remember all of the pieces, but I did list what I could! You will have to tune in to True Style soon to see the rest of the looks we put together! I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend! XXOO
We had McDonald's and the entire park to ourselves this afternoon! My kiddos love the park and flat wore themselves out playing today! I love my Thursdays, which are reserved for special time with these two cuties!
Well, this is how I came to work today, post run and all! You just can't be fabulous everyday. Although, I am happy to say that the 5 mile run was just what I needed to clear my head and be productive during my few short hours at the office. So I mananged a few social media accounts, drafted a press release, and edited some photos for an article I am writing. Now on to pick up children from early release day at school! Cheers to getting the job done......no matter the outfit!
Free stuff....we all love it, and it really doesn't matter what it is. Being in PR, I know this to be true! Give away something free...and you gain attention! Victoria's Secret uses this little plot to get us in their stores to shop....BUT not this time! I went in, picked out my free pair of panties, presented my free panty coupon, and back out to my car I went! Small victories folks, small victories!

The ONE purchase I made at FNO! On clearance plus a $20 Nordstrom note! Whoop!
I do love this blog! It's fun for me. I know some people don't get it. Take my business partner for example, who tells me he laughs when he pictures me setting up the tripod and running to strike a pose in my sitting room. I know it is kinda funny.....but really, it's fun. I have always loved fashion, ever since the days of dance class when I would mix my old costume pieces together to create outfits. I have followed fashion blogs for several years now, but always thought I couldn't do it because my pictures wouldn't be good enough, or maybe I don't have the right clothes. Then with the start of the 30 day dress project, my fear was broken! I love the inspiration I get from other bloggers, and I hope to share a little with you! I hope everyone had a great weekend, and here's to the start of a new week!

What a FUN night! So great to spend time with friends like Courtney and Aimee, see the sights, and talk about all things fashion! International Plaza and our friends at White Book Agency did a fabulous job with this first year event! We had a blast filling up our chocolate boxes, watching the runway shows, strutting the red carpet, and playing dress up! I was proud to only make ONE purchase...a great pair of shoes (on clearance) which I will be posting soon! I can never wait to wear something new, so I wore them today!
